University Gaston Berger at Saint-Louis, Senegal, which has already been selected as home to one of the World Bank’s African Centres of Excellence, has announced the launch of a new French-language Masters Programme in Risk Prevention and Food Security (Master Prévention et Gestion des Risques liés à la Sécurité Alimentaire, PGRSA), which will be carried out by their “UFR des Sciences Agronomiques de l’Aquaculture et des Technologies Alimentaires (UFR S2ATA)” starting in the academic year 2014/2015.
The programme is part of the Periperi U (Partners Enhancing Resilience to People Exposed to Risks) programme, which has recently been admitted as International Centre of Excellence into the IRDR Programme.
The Masters Programme is a French-speaking 4-semester course and part of the widely-accepted LMD system, eligilibity conditions and selection procedures are reported here in this link: http://www.periperiu.sn
